The New Civic Si, Equipped with 1.5T+6MT, Is Set to Launch in Overseas Markets in August

Recently, Honda officially released the official images of the new Civic Si overseas model. As a revised model, the new car maintains a similar appearance to the newly released Civic model this May, with slight enhancements to the configuration and details. The powertrain still uses the 1.5T+6MT combination.

In terms of appearance, the new Civic Si’s overall design is similar to the new Civic, featuring a new hexagonal honeycomb front grille with a red Si exclusive logo embedded and a larger air intake design. The fog lights on both sides have been removed and replaced with new air deflection slots. The side lines are rugged and smooth, with a double waistline design, combined with a fastback style and smoked exterior mirrors. The car also comes with exclusive dual-five-spoke 18-inch smoked wheels. The changes at the rear are minimal, with a black spoiler added, and the tail lights also undergo a smoked treatment, with a dual-outlet circular exhaust layout in the lower bumper.

Inside, the new Civic Si continues the design style of the regular model, using a black and red color scheme. The center console features a symmetrical design, equipped with a 9-inch central control display and a 10.2-inch LCD instrument panel. The instrument panel has added a shift indicator light, and the seats are designed in a one-piece bucket style, equipped with heating function, and printed with the Si exclusive logo.

In terms of power, the new Civic Si is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 203 horsepower and a peak torque of 260 N·m, matched with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has also undergone upgrades to the chassis, improving handling.

It is reported that the new car is expected to arrive in the North American market in August, with a price of approximately $31,045 (about 226,000 RMB) .
