Sealion 07EV will push a high-level intelligent driving OTA update without images in October.

BYD’s Sealion 07EV will undergo an advanced intelligent driving feature upgrade via OTA (Over-The-Air) push in October. This upgrade will include six core functions such as automatic entry and exit of ramps, autonomous lane changing, active obstacle avoidance, and more, aiming to further enhance the user’s smart electric driving experience.

The Sealion 07EV is BYD’s first model equipped with the e-platform 3.0 Evo technology, which has seen comprehensive improvements in overall vehicle efficiency, dynamic performance, and ride quality. Zhang Zhuo, General Manager of BYD Auto Marine Network Sales Division, announced this news at the “BYD e-platform 3.0 Evo and Sealion 07EV Technology Experience Co-Creation Camp” event.

In addition, the Sealion 07EV has performed outstandingly in the market. Despite limited production capacity and only three months of complete sales, as of the end of August, its cumulative sales have exceeded 24,000 units, winning widespread recognition from users. The success of the Sealion 07EV is not only due to its strong product strength but also to BYD’s top-tier manufacturing process. The Changzhou production base, as the birthplace of the Sealion 07EV, possesses internationally leading smart manufacturing technology and a quality control system.
