Chengdu Auto Show Debut: The All-New BMW X3 Long-Wheelbase Version Configuration Information Unveiled

The new BMW X3 long-wheelbase version made its debut at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, and its configuration information has been released. Here are the detailed information about this new car:

1. Exterior Design: The new BMW X3 long-wheelbase version has undergone a comprehensive update in its exterior. The front face features the split-type BMW ring-shaped luminous grille for the first time, which is larger in size. The redesigned double L-shaped angel eye headlights adopt an integrated design for near and far lights, with the light source extending outward in stages, further widening the visual width of the front face. In terms of side design, the new car features a newly designed side contour, with the shoulder line showing a clear upward trend, matched with the convex front and rear wheel arches and a five-spoke wheel design, exuding a strong sense of sportiness. The tail part adopts a simple design style, with the new arrow feather-shaped tail lights integrated into the tail, forming a powerful “X” shape with the double L-shaped light bands.

   

2. Size and Wheelbase: The body length and width of the new BMW X3 long-wheelbase version are 4865 mm and 1920 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2975 mm. This is an increase of 110 mm over the standard wheelbase version, the same as the standard wheelbase version of the BMW X5.
   

3. Powertrain: The new car is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power output of 211kW, matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

4. Paint and Wheels: The new X3 long-wheelbase version will offer 5 standard free optional metallic paints, including mineral white, carbon black, speed blue, Brooklyn gray, and sky gray. In addition, a personalized custom matte pure gray is available as a paid option, priced at about 20,000 yuan. In terms of wheels, there are 5 options available, including 21-inch, 20-inch, and 19-inch, and for the first time, M high-performance brake calipers (blue) are included.
   

5. Interior and Seat Materials: The seats (interior) of the new X3 long-wheelbase version will offer three color choices, all in a dual-color scheme, with the material being Veganza leather. The rear space not only gets longer but also features a different seat style, with the addition of comfortable headrests, and the use of silver seat belts.
