Advancing Oil and Electric: FAW-Volkswagen Unveils Three Major Models at the Auto Show

At the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, FAW-Volkswagen showcased three significant models: the all-new Tayron L, the all-new Golf family, and the 2025 ID.4 CROZZ. These models embody the innovation and development of FAW-Volkswagen under its “Oil and Electric Co-Progression” strategy.

The all-new Tayron L has undergone notable design changes, with its length and wheelbase increased by 91mm and 60mm respectively, offering a more spacious interior. In terms of appearance, the Tayron L features a large-mouth grille design with an enlarged grille size and a smoked treatment, creating a strong visual impact. The new car is also equipped with a through-type tail light and smoked exterior kit, enhancing the overall design coordination. Inside, the Tayron L boasts a luxurious interior, including soft wrapping, a suede ceiling, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, and a 15-inch central control LCD screen. Additionally, the new car introduces iFlytek’s voice solution and the IQ.Pilot intelligent assistance driving system, offering an advanced intelligent experience.

The all-new Golf family has been upgraded both in exterior and interior design. The new Golf will be equipped with a 1.5T engine, while the new Golf GTI continues to use a 2.0T engine. These upgrades further enhance the performance and driving experience of the Golf family.

The main changes to the 2025 ID.4 CROZZ are in its exterior design, featuring smoked wheel rims, tail lettering logos, and window frame trim strips, making the overall design more modern and dynamic.

The debut of these models not only showcases FAW-Volkswagen’s advancements in the intelligence of new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles but also marks an important step for the company under its “Oil and Electric Co-Progression” strategy.
