The All-New Tayron L Rolls Off the Assembly Line, FAW-Volkswagen Celebrates the Milestone of 20 Million Vehicles Produced

On November 28, 2024, FAW-Volkswagen welcomed an important historical moment: the 20 millionth vehicle of the Volkswagen brand, the All-New Tayron L, successfully rolled off the production line at the FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin factory. This milestone not only signifies FAW-Volkswagen’s relentless pursuit of quality but also reflects the trust that users have in the brand.

The All-New Tayron L is a mid-size SUV built on the MQB evo platform and features a brand-new family design language. It offers two exterior styles: the standard version and the R-Line version, both with a strong sense of design and visual impact. In terms of dimensions, the Tayron L measures 4684mm in length, 1854mm in width, and 1685mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2791mm. Compared to the current Tayron model, the length has increased by 91mm, the width has decreased by 6mm, the height has increased by 20mm, and the wheelbase has increased by 60mm.

In terms of the interior, the Tayron L has been comprehensively upgraded, equipped with a soft-wrapped ceiling and a plush leather design, creating a luxurious craft quality. The interior also features a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15-inch central control LCD screen, and the 8155 chip, supporting CarPlay and CarLife. Additionally, the new vehicle introduces iFlytek’s voice solution, with dual-zone recognition response for the driver and co-driver, with an accuracy rate of over 95%.

In terms of intelligence, the Tayron L is equipped with the L2-level driving assistance IQ.Pilot developed for China’s complex road conditions, as well as the IQ.360 panoramic visual imaging, IPA intelligent parking assist system, and other leading equipment, providing a powerful smart driving experience.

In terms of power, the All-New Volkswagen Tayron L will offer 1.5T and 2.0T power options. Since its launch, the Tayron family has won the favor of users with its exquisite craftsmanship, outstanding performance, and humanized design, with cumulative sales exceeding 850,000 units, becoming a sales leader among German SUVs.
