New Transparent Chassis: The All-New Cadillac XT5 Receives Its First OTA Upgrade

The all-new Cadillac XT5 recently underwent its first OTA upgrade, which primarily includes several aspects: the vehicle interface, voice recognition model, and panoramic imaging features.

In terms of the vehicle interface, the upgrade introduces new colorful icons and wallpaper themes, enhancing the interface’s recognizability. At the same time, the operating interface has been optimized, allowing users to integrate control and setting functions based on personal preferences. Additionally, a new design for the toolbar and drop-down panel has been added, making commonly used features more accessible.

Regarding the voice recognition model, this upgrade has made the Cadillac XT5’s voice control system more advanced. It now supports more voice control functions, such as controlling the vehicle’s infotainment system to draw, tell stories, write reports, etc. The scope of voice control has also been expanded, supporting simultaneous awakening and interaction in dual zones, and it can even respond to a single sentence containing up to 10 commands.

Most notably, the 360-degree panoramic imaging feature has added a transparent chassis function in this upgrade. This feature clearly displays the condition of the vehicle’s underside, effectively reducing the risk of scraping due to complex terrain. Additionally, a new safety alert feature for the tailgate opening has been added, helping users more accurately estimate the safe distance needed for tailgate opening when parking in narrow or complex spaces.
