Pure Electric Range up to 750km, DS N°8 Official Images Released

The official images of the DS N°8 have recently been released. This is a pure electric model positioned in the mid-to-large car segment, which has attracted widespread attention with its unique crossover design. The car not only represents a new flagship for the DS brand but also signifies the brand's launch of a new naming system, with future models set to adopt the N-number naming convention.

In terms of appearance, the DS N°8 features a closed-off front face with a light source grille that incorporates the DS brand logo, and its split-style front headlights are particularly unique. The side of the body adopts a fastback design, blending SUV characteristics to showcase its crossover style. The design of the rear part is contoured, with Y-shaped tail lights that echo the front of the car.

The interior design concept is inspired by yachts, with the car equipped with Nappa leather seats and a futuristic four-spoke steering wheel. The combination of a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 16-inch central control screen is equipped with the DS Iris System 2.0 infotainment system, providing a wealth of information and a convenient operating experience. Additionally, the car is also equipped with a dial-type gear shift design and a FOCAL sound system.

In terms of power, the DS N°8 offers three versions with either a single motor or dual motors. The front-wheel-drive standard version has a maximum power of 230kW and a range of 572km; the front-wheel-drive long-range version has a maximum power of 245kW and a range of up to 750km; the all-wheel-drive long-range version has a maximum power of 350kW and a range of 686km. The 400V battery is compatible with up to 200 kW DC fast charging, allowing for a 20-80% charge to be completed in just 27 minutes.
It is reported that the new car will be launched in Europe in the middle of 2025, with specific pricing to be announced before the market launch.
